This is serious: V<\/a>, the Tony Award-winning playwright formerly known as Eve Ensler<\/a>, has created a new project titled This is Crazy!, which will be mounted as a one-night-only production in New York as a benefit for the National Alliance on Mental Illness<\/a> in honor of beloved talent manager Chris Huvane<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A high-profile cast has signed on for This is Crazy!, including Jane Fonda<\/a>, Marisa Tomei<\/a>, Mark Ruffalo<\/a>, Sanaa Lathan<\/a>, Rosanna Arquette<\/a>, Lois Smith<\/a>, Rachel Hilson<\/a>, Olivia Oguma<\/a>, Colette McDermott<\/a>, Derrick Delgado<\/a>, Luke Ferrari, Doireann Mac Mahon<\/a>, Clarence Maclin<\/a> and Mohammad Saleem<\/a>. Directed by V, the 90-minute production will find the actors delivering a series of monologues described as \u201craw, personal perspectives on mental illness and the emotional and social complexity of the human experience.\u201d<\/p>\n
