It\u2019s a bitter pill Bad Bunny<\/a> fans in the U.S. will have to swallow. <\/p>\n Those fans were initially left puzzled when they noticed the musician left the United States off of his upcoming \u201cDeb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos\u201d world tour<\/a>. <\/p>\n To clear the air, in a new interview with i-D<\/a> published Wednesday, the Puerto-Rican crooner said the decision to skip the U.S. was tied to the Trump administration\u2019s recent mass deportations targeting Latinos. <\/p>\n When interviewer Suzy Exposito asked if the decision was \u201cout of concern\u201d for his Latino fans, the entertainer responded, \u201cMan, honestly, yes.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cThere were many reasons why I didn\u2019t show up in the U.S., and none of them were out of hate \u2014 I\u2019ve performed there many times,\u201d Bad Bunny explained. \u201cAll of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent.\u201d<\/p>\n To fans all over, his residency in his native Puerto Rico is incredibly appealing because it welcomes fans from over the world to his island, which includes many from the United States who had never visited La Isla del Encanto. <\/p>\n His residency, No Me Quiero Ir de Aqu\u00ed<\/a>, is set to conclude on Sept. 14 after 30 shows, which kicked off since mid-July. <\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the US, but specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an incorporated territory of the U.S. … People from the U.S. could come here to see the show,\u201d Bad Bunny said. \u201cLatinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut there was the issue of \u2014 like, [expletive] ICE could be outside [my concert].
