Kansas City Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes<\/strong> and Travis Kelce<\/strong> are preparing to open a new steakhouse \u2014 and according to the quarterback, a drink inspired by Kelce\u2019s fianc\u00e9e<\/a>, Taylor Swift<\/strong>, is likely to be a hit.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a big liquor drinker myself but, from everyone else, I\u2019ve heard it\u2019s a really good drink and obviously [we] wanted to have an ode to Taylor and how important she is, not only to us but this city as well,\u201d Mahomes, 29, said of a cocktail called \u201cThe Alchemy\u201d during a Wednesday, September 10, appearance on The Drive radio show<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Alchemy,\u201d as Swifties know, is a song off of Swift\u2019s 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Many believe the song is an ode to her relationship with the tight end, 35. The lyrics, which feature a number of football references, describe a new romance between a pair who can\u2019t \u201cfight\u201d their chemistry.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think people will be super excited to get it and it has the theatrics that I think people will love,\u201d Mahomes continued. \u201cI\u2019m sure it is something that will be ordered a ton and be a best seller at 1587.\u201d<\/p>\n

The vodka-based cocktail is made with dry cura\u00e7ao, aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime and oolong tea, according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Super Bowl champions\u2019 restaurant, 1587 \u2014 named after their uniform numbers \u2014 is set to open September 17 in Kansas City, Missouri.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
