A new update for Big Little Lies<\/a><\/strong> Season 3 has been revealed, confirming the latest progress of the acclaimed HBO<\/a> series\u2019 long-awaited next installment. The darkly comedic drama has been on hiatus since wrapping up its second season in 2019. The first two seasons both received Certified Fresh scores on Rotten Tomatoes.<\/p>\n According to Variety, Big Little Lies Season 3 is now finally in active development at HBO, with Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-creator Francesca Sloane signing on as an executive producer. She is also writing the first episode of Season 3. At the moment, Academy Award winners Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon are the only confirmed cast members set to return. They were also joined by Meryl Streep, Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsg\u00e5rd, Iain Armitage, and Kathryn Newton.<\/p>\n The series was created by David E.
