A \u201cSouth Park\u201d episode lampooning Charlie Kirk is being pulled from the airwaves following the killing of the conservative activist.<\/p>\n
The episode, called \u201cGot a Nut\u201d and which premiered last month, will not be airing as part of the Comedy Central show\u2019s linear rotation, ITK has learned.<\/p>\n
The episode<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 which largely focused its satire on Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and Vice President Vance \u2014 is still available on demand and on Paramount+.<\/p>\n Kirk was\u00a0fatally shot<\/a>\u00a0Wednesday while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University.<\/p>\n In the \u201cSouth Park\u201d episode, one of the animated show\u2019s protagonists, Eric Cartman, appeared to dress as Kirk before engaging in a debate with a classmate.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old Turning Point USA co-founder had called the parody a \u201cbadge of honor,\u201d saying before the episode aired that it would \u201cshow the cultural impact and the resonance that our movement has been able to achieve.\u201d<\/p>\n Kirk, who temporarily changed his social media profile picture to an image of Cartman,\u00a0told Fox News<\/a>\u00a0in July, \u201cI\u2019m excited to watch it because, look, we as conservatives need to be able to take a joke, right?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe shouldn\u2019t take ourselves so seriously,\u201d he said at the time.<\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
