On the anniversary of the September 11th attacks, actor Steven Weber<\/a><\/strong> is paying tribute to two people whose loss is still with him 24 years later.<\/p>\n Weber, who starred on the NBC sitcom Wings<\/em> from 1990 to 1997, took to Instagram<\/a> on September 11, 2025, to remember Wings<\/em> creator and executive producer David Angell<\/strong> and his wife, Lynn<\/strong>. The couple was tragically killed aboard American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane that struck the World Trade Center towers on 9\/11 in 2001.<\/p>\n \u201cWe lost these two lovely people \u2014 David and Lynn Angell \u2014 on this day 24 years ago,\u201d Weber wrote alongside a photo. \u201cThe sheer hatred of decency, compassion, empathy and wisdom that did this is, sadly, still with us. Before co-creating Wings<\/em>, he was a supervising producer and writer for Cheers<\/a><\/em> and went on to become an executive producer on the hit series Frasier<\/a><\/em>.
