Country singer Carly Pearce<\/strong> is getting candid about her ongoing health condition<\/p>\n The “Every Little Thing” singer, 35, took to Instagram on Thursday<\/a> to share her the story of her recurrent pericarditis diagnosis, as well as how she’s aiming to spread awareness of the condition.<\/p>\n “When I first started experiencing recurrent pericarditis flares I was in the middle of a grueling performance schedule,” she explained. “The flares were painful and I would become short of breath and fatigued. Afters seeing many doctors I learned I have RP. Once I had my diagnosis I was finally able to work with my doctor and make my RP more manageable.”<\/p>\n In her post’s caption she went on to explain that her symptoms included, “sharp chest pain, shortness of breath and fatigue” which “could be misdiagnosed as other conditions.”<\/p>\n Pearce who has spoken about her diagnosis previously, announced that she’s partnering with a pharmaceutical company to continue to spread awareness of the condition.<\/p>\n Related: Country Star Carly Pearce Opens Up About Her Lifelong Mental Health Struggles<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Fans of the country singer swarmed her Instagram’s comment section with heart emojis and words of love and support. <\/p>\n “Very Glad You Are Getting Help And Raising Awareness About This Disease! Feel Better And Keep On Singing!! It\u2019s Good For What Ails You!!!” one fan wrote.<\/p>\n “Thank you for bringing out more awareness to this sweetheart,” another fan said.<\/p>\n Pearce first went public with her diagnosis on Instagram last year,<\/a> however it later became known that she had been dealing it since 2020.
