Saoirse Ronan<\/a> just picked up a new role: mom. <\/p>\n

The “Lady Bird” star gave birth to her first child with husband Jack Lowden, as the couple stepped out for a family walk in London with a stroller, per photos obtained by The Sun<\/a> Sept. 11.<\/p>\n

Ronan debuted her pregnancy in a similar way, first putting her <\/span>baby bump on display<\/a> during a stroll with Jack and their dog in London in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

While the duo began dating in 2017 after meeting on the set of “Mary Queen of Scots” \u2014 where he played the doomed husband to her titular character \u2014 they have tended to keep their relationship out of the public eye. This includes marrying in a private Scotland ceremony<\/a> last July with only their closest friends and family present.<\/p>\n

Still, the couple have shared insight into their dynamic, including their work together on projects like “The Outrun,” which they produced together and Ronan, 31, starred in.<\/p>\n

“Jack is a lot calmer than I am. He\u2019s my voice of reason,” she told USA Today<\/a> in October 2024. “But as a duo, we\u2019ve both been on film sets our whole lives, so we have an appreciation of what we\u2019re asking actors to do. We always want them to feel safe.”<\/p>\n

But despite collaborating behind the scenes, Ronan has teased a possible onscreen reunion<\/a> with her husband.<\/p>\n

“Jack didn’t want to for a long time, but I’ve now convinced him that’s a great idea,” she revealed. “I\u2019d really like to do something together on stage.”<\/p>\n

While the “Slow Horses” actor might be more hesitant to hop back in front of the camera with his wife, that hasn\u2019t stopped him from singing her praises.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was remarkable working with Saoirse,\u201d Lowden gushed on a December 2018 panel for AOL\u2019s BUILD<\/a> series. \u201cThe woman is a force of nature on and off screen, and utterly fearless and a brilliant leader as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

And while they continue to keep their romance out of the spotlight, they know public interest comes with the job. \u201cI\u2019m not an idiot. Her and I don\u2019t find that odd. We\u2019re hugely appreciative of the level of scrutiny we have,\u201d Lowden told i Newspaper<\/a> in 2023. \u201cWe\u2019re treated well but we don\u2019t seek it either.”<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s also obviously of our own making,” he continued. “As long as we\u2019ve got each other, we\u2019re alright with any of that.\u201d<\/p>\n
