When her cancer later recurred, she had to drop out of the competition to deal with her health. Nightbirde was the first Golden Buzzer act to withdraw from the live shows of\u00a0America’s Got Talent.\u00a0Nightbirde lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, Feb. 20, making her the first Golden Buzzer winner to die.
