When Janet Hubert recently visited Atlanta radio station V-103, she referred to it as being \u201cat the scene of the crime.\u201d<\/p>\n
The actress was a guest on \u2018The Big Tigger Show<\/a>,\u201d where the topic came up about the feud between her and her former \u201cThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air\u201d costar, Will Smith.<\/p>\n Hubert explained that it was at that very station 30 years ago where she says Smith \u201cdogged\u201d her \u201cout.\u201d<\/p>\n She had played \u201cAunt Viv\u201d on the hit comedy before being replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid in 1993 over \u201ccreative differences.\u201d<\/p>\n Over the decades she and Smith publicly traded barbs, including him reportedly telling the Atlanta radio station<\/a> that Hubert \u201cwanted the show to be The Aunt Viv of Bel-Air Show.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very cathartic and healing for me to be here,\u201d Hubert said during her recent interview. \u201cWe\u2019ve come full circle everybody.\u201d<\/p>\n Asked about how her relationship with Smith is currently, Hubert said, \u201cSo good.\u201d She credited Smith with assisting her in the promotion of her independent animated feature, \u201cJG and the BC Kids.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m going to give my baby his props,\u201d Hubert said of Smith. \u201cHe put together the website with his team for me.\u201d<\/p>\n She said Smith not only paid for the work, but also loaned her his entire social media team to help her.<\/p>\n The pair publicly ended their feud in 2020 during the \u201cThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air\u201d reunion<\/a>, which streamed on HBO Max.
