Mary Sue<\/a>, creator James Gunn shared details on what it\u2019s like collaborating with talented artists and incorporating good music into his work. He spoke about Foxy Shazam, whose song \u201cOh Lord\u201d was chosen for this season\u2019s dance number.<\/p>\nHe said, \u201cOh, it\u2019s awesome. I remember turning Jen [Holland] onto Foxy Shazam like a couple years ago. We were renting a house in LA and we were outside, and I kept playing her different songs and I was showing her videos, and she\u2019s like, \u2018How is this band not like the biggest band in the world? They have so many good songs.\u2019 I mean, they\u2019re like Queen, you know? And so to be able to introduce people to Foxy and have them see what a great band there is awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n
Apart from sharing good music with the world through his work, he also explained that the most favorite part of his job is also to explore the depths of his characters. \u201cIn the same way, it\u2019s cool to get people to see what an amazing actor John Cena is in a way that they haven\u2019t seen or see how good Jen is at acting and fighting or Steve Agee can do dramatic, all these different elements of people that I love and can bring out. That\u2019s my favorite part of this whole job,\u201d Gunn added.<\/p>\n
