{"id":2016362,"date":"2025-09-12T10:09:47","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T10:09:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2016362"},"modified":"2025-09-12T10:09:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T10:09:47","slug":"stella-donnelly-announces-new-album-love-and-fortune","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/stella-donnelly-announces-new-album-love-and-fortune\/","title":{"rendered":"Stella Donnelly Announces New Album &#8216;Love and Fortune&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Stella Donnelly will release her first album since 2022 later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Announced yesterday (September 11th), <em>Love and Fortune<\/em> will arrive on Friday, November 7th via Dot Dash Recordings \/ Remote Control.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, Donnelly\u2019s forthcoming album is \u201ca deeply personal and anchored body of work that traces the journey back to herself after a period of profound change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Donnelly\u2019s highly anticipated album, which was recorded slowly and carefully in Naarm\/Melbourne, comes after a period of quiet reflection for the Australian singer-songwriter, a necessary endeavour following several intense years of touring.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese songs wouldn\u2019t leave me alone,\u201d Donnelly admits. \u201cLike seagulls, they screamed at me when I rode to work, they pecked at me while I wrote essays, and they stole my chips the second I thought I was happier without music.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Love and Fortune<\/em> features new single \u201cFeel It Change\u201d, which premiered on Huw Stephens\u2019 BBC 6 Music show this week. I think the neighbours started getting shitty after a while because I stewed on the same chords for ages,\u201d Donnelly says. \u201cIt\u2019s about the rumination of slowly peeling off the band-aid of a relationship that was doomed to fall apart. Both activities made it difficult to write any lyrics down. I finally sat with a keyboard and held a note and it all just came together.
