\n LEGOLAND California unveils spooky 17-foot Halloween Tree made entirely of LEGO bricks \n <\/p>\n

This Halloween, LEGOLAND California is encouraging visitors to ditch the \u201ctricks\u201d in trick-or-treating and instead immerse themselves in the park\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>Brick-or-Treat celebration, highlighted with the debut of its massive Halloween Tree.<\/p>\n

Made from 680,963 LEGO bricks, the 17-foot-tall tree is the park\u2019s largest LEGO creation by brick count and took over 4,000 hours to build. Assembled by five Master Model Builders, the structure is 12 feet wide and can spook patrons by following them with its moving eyes and eyebrows as they enter the park.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In addition to the spooky glances, the tree will also give guests a friendly fright with its twinkling lights and Halloween-themed background music.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Halloween Tree also brings some of its spooky LEGO friends along for the festivities, as the larger-than-life structure features a black cat perched atop its trunk, a spider in its cobweb stretched along the branches and plenty of ghost friends and pumpkins dangling from its limbs\u2014 all of which were also built with the toy bricks.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You can check out the tree during the park\u2019s Brick-or-Treat celebration,\u00a0<\/span>which will take place on select weekends from Sept. 20 through Nov. 1, and is fun for all ages.<\/p>\n

In addition to beholding the friendly but terrifying tree, guests can also enjoy live shows, candy stations and meet and greets with LEGO monster characters.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
