\n\tM\u00e5neskin<\/a> lead singer Damiano David<\/a> taps Tyla<\/a> and Nile Rodgers<\/a> for \u201cTalk to Me,\u201d which dropped Friday (Sept. 12).<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cTalk to Me\u201d is featured on the deluxe edition of David\u2019s debut album Funny Little Fears<\/em>, which was originally released May 16 via Sony Music Italy and Arista Records. The deluxe version, titled Funny Little Dreams<\/em>, includes four more new tracks, including \u201cCinnamon\u201d with Albert Hammond Jr., \u201cNaked,\u201d \u201cMysterious Girl\u201d and \u201cOver.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tIn a press release, David says he \u201cunexpectedly felt a new wave of inspiration\u201d hit him as the Funny Little Fears World Tour was approaching, which \u201cled me to write \u2018Talk to Me.\u2019 What made this spark even more exciting was knowing that the legendary Nile Rodgers thought the song worthy of adding his solo guitar. I always felt this song should be a duet, and since I\u2019ve recently been listening a lot to \u2018Water,\u2019 I was completely blown away and really wanted to have [Tyla] sing it with me.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tTyla adds she \u201cinstantly fell in love with how nostalgic it felt. I heard myself on it straight away.\u201d Once Rodgers received the record, he says he \u201creally loved the vibe of it and I wanted my guitar to be the third voice.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tDavid\u2019s first solo tour started Thursday night (Sept. 11) at the COS Torwar in Warsaw, Poland and will go through the rest of Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and North America before wrapping on Dec. 16 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland. <\/p>\n \n\tThe Italian singer-songwriter earned two nominations at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards<\/a> last Sunday (Sept. 7) for best long-form video with \u201cFunny Little Stories\u201d and for MTV push performance of the year with \u201cNext Summer.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tListen to \u201cTalk to Me\u201d below.<\/p>\n \n
