The co-headliners will be Rascal Flatts (June 19), Lainey Wilson (June 20), Jason Aldean (June 21) and Jelly Roll (June 22), with other performers including Chris Janson, Boyz II Men, Warren Zeiders, Megan Moroney, Colt Ford, Jordan Davis, Ella Langley, Chris Cagle, Lanco, Sam Barber and Chayce Beckham.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022<\/strong> As you have probably heard by now, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/brian-wilson-dead-82-beach-boys-singer-co-founder-8548234\">Brian Wilson died this week<\/a>, at the age of 82. In a press release, Axelrod Performing Arts Center executive artistic director Andrew DePrisco (who produces shows and concerts at Bell Theater) described \u201cHedwig\u201d as \u201ca wild piece of interactive theater that celebrates pride, diversity and rock \u2018n roll.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The musical, written by John Cameron Mitchell (book) and Stephen Trask (music, lyrics), debuted off-Broadway in 1998 and was produced on Broadway in 2014 and 2015, winning a Tony for Best Revival of a Musical.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 <\/strong>Middlesex County will open its 2025 <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.middlesexcountynj.gov\/find-programs-and-resources\/parks-and-recreation\/plays-in-the-park\">Plays-in-in-the-Park<\/a> series at The Stephen J. Capestro Theater at Roosevelt Park in Edison, June 18-21 and 23-28 with <strong>\u201cBeautiful: The Carole King Musical.\u201d<\/strong> All shows are at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>This jukebox musical debuted in San Francisco in 2013 and ran on Broadway from 2014 to 2016. It features songs written or co-written by King (including \u201cWill You Love Me Tomorrow,\u201d \u201cUp on the Roof,\u201d \u201cSo Far Away\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s Too Late\u201d) and other songwriters from the late \u201950s to the early \u201970s \u2014 and chronicles her life and career during that time period, when she gained success, first, as a behind-the-scenes songwriter, and then as a recording artist in her own right.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022<\/strong> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eastlynnetheater.org\/\">East Lynne Theater Co.<\/a> will present Ken Ludwig\u2019s <strong>\u201cDear Jack\/Dear Louise\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 which I liked very much <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njarts.net\/92896\">when I saw the George Street Playhouse production of it in New Brunswick<\/a> in 2021 \u2014 at Cape May Presbyterian Church, June 18-21 and 25-28 and July 2-5 and 9-12. In it, Ludwig tells the story of his parents\u2019 courtship during World War II, mainly through letters he imagines they wrote to each other. Jack was an army doctor and Louise was an aspiring actress and dancer, and they didn\u2019t meet each other in person until after the war.<\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 19.552px;\">DANCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2022 <\/strong>As part of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/princetonsymphony.org\/festival\">The Princeton Festival<\/a>, <strong>American Repertory Ballet<\/strong> will present \u201cAn Evening of Pas de Deux\u201d at The Moven Museum &amp; Garden, June 14 at 7 p.m., with The Princeton Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Rossen Milanov, providing the music.
