Toni Cornell,<\/a> daughter of late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell<\/a>, has released the new song \u201cCampari,\u201d the latest stand-alone single from the young singer-songwriter (stream below).<\/p>\n Upon first listen, \u201cCampari\u201d gives off vibes of M.I.A.\u2019s \u201cPaper Planes\u201d and Lorde\u2019s \u201cRoyals.\u201d A press release describes the song as \u201ca slow-burn with a propulsive chorus that fuses eloquent penmanship with glittering art-pop.\u201d<\/p>\n Toni, who is about to turn 21 and is currently enrolled at NYU, began singing at a young age, following in her famous dad\u2019s footsteps. She released the single \u201cFar Away Places\u201d<\/a> in 2019, and in the past year unveiled the songs \u201cSunset of Your Love\u201d<\/a> and \u201cLittle Bitch.\u201d Toni has also covered such tunes as Temple of the Dog\u2019s \u201cHunger Strike,\u201d Leonard Cohen\u2019s \u201cHallelujah,\u201d Pearl Jam\u2019s \u201cBlack,\u201d and others.<\/p>\n
