The Chinese actor Alan “Yu” Menglong has died at the age of 37.<\/p>\n
That’s according to Asia One<\/em><\/a>,<\/em> which reported that his management team confirmed the tragic news on the social media platform Weibo.<\/p>\n “With unbearable sorrow, we announce that our beloved Menglong fell to his death on Sept 11. Police have ruled out any criminality. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n He was known for competing in a Chinese singing contest called Super Boy<\/em> in 2013, the publication noted, alleging that he “fell to his death” from a building.<\/p>\n He went on to star in programs like Go Princess Go <\/em>and Eternal Lov<\/em>e. He also played Lin Fang in The Moon Brightens for You.<\/em><\/p>\n The management team’s post<\/a> was also shared on a Reddit thread where people posted tributes to the actor.<\/p>\n “RIP. This is tragic and sudden. He will be missed. \ud83d\ude1e” wrote one fan on the Reddit thread. The news also spread from Weibo to X.<\/a><\/p>\n “RIP. I will forever remember him in his role as Bai Qian’s brother,” another fan wrote.<\/p>\n “So incredibly sad. Nothing but peace and love to those that knew and loved him,” wrote another fan. Other Chinese stars also posted tributes on Weibo, according to screenshots on X.<\/p>\n Asia One<\/em> reported that the news trended widely on Weibo, after first appearing via a now-deleted post by an alleged photographer. Then, his management team confirmed that he had died.<\/p>\n “Very sad to hear about Yu\u2019s passing.
