Sami Sheen<\/strong>, who has been estranged from her father,\u00a0Charlie Sheen,<\/strong> in recent years, posted a tearful TikTok<\/a> in response to Netflix\u2019s new documentary, aka Charlie Sheen<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t know I was the reason he got sober,\u201d the 21-year-old wrote in text across the September 11 video, in which she gazed silently at the camera. She captioned the clip, \u201cHonestly a 10\/10 documentary.\u201d<\/p>\n TikTok\/Sami Sheen<\/span><\/p>\n Charlie, 60, recounted the pivotal incident in both the film and his new memoir, The Book of Sheen<\/a>. He described how in 2017, when Sami was 13, she called asking where he was after he forgot an appointment he was supposed to drive her to. At the time, he admitted, he was on his \u201cthird\u201d coffee and whiskey of the morning.<\/p>\n The former Two and a Half Men star asked a family friend to drive him. \u201cOn the drive back to my house, Sam was very quiet,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI didn\u2019t need to be clairvoyant to know exactly what she was thinking. Why is Dad not driving\u2014again? When will Dad ever return? I miss him.\u201d<\/p>\n Charlie added that the moment pushed him to get sober<\/a>, and he has remained that way ever since. \u201cLife comes down to doers and talkers, and there was really nothing left for me to say,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt was time to shut the f*** up and get busy doing.
