You might have heard that TNA talent is not allowed to work Scott D\u2019Amore\u2019s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling shows. According to an Anthem Entertainment executive, some of what you might have heard is not true.<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, TNA star Moose said that he wants to work some dates for D\u2019Amore. However, he implied that he couldn\u2019t due to AEW\u2019s relationship with the Canadian promotion.<\/p>\n
\u201cI talk to him (Scott D\u2019Amore) at least once every other week, maybe once a month. He\u2019s doing great. He has his new fed, Maple Leaf Pro. They\u2019re doing awesome. I wish I could work for them but you know how business is with the whole TNA,\u201d Moose said on Signed by Superstars (via Fightful<\/a>). \u201cThey have a relationship with AEW. We\u2019re in competition with AEW so you know how all that whole nonsense goes.\u201d<\/p>\n F4WOnline.com\u2019s Dave Meltzer shared a follow-up report in this week\u2019s Wrestling Observer Newsletter<\/a><\/em>. There, he claimed that TNA considers AEW as its \u201cenemy\u201d and speculated that the decision was influenced by TNA\u2019s partnership with WWE.<\/p>\n \u201cTNA talent is not allowed to work on Scott D\u2019Amore\u2019s Maple Leaf Wrestling shows even though most of them like D\u2019Amore. The reason is that TNA management considers AEW as the enemy and D\u2019Amore is allowed to book AEW talent,\u201d Meltzer wrote in the Observer. <\/em>\u201cThis is no way that decision would be made by anyone in TNA who cared about the talent and basically shows at the top level, TNA is controlled by WWE.<\/p>\n Anthem Senior Vice President David B. Clevinger has now spoken out about this claim, stating that it is untrue. \u201cNone of this is true, BTW,\u201d Clevinger wrote on Twitter\/X<\/a>. Clevinger did not expand on his initial post.
