allegedly agreed to be deposed in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni\u2019s legal battle, according to court docs obtained <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2025\/09\/12\/celebrity-news\/taylor-swift-agrees-to-give-evidence-in-blake-lively-justin-baldoni-legal-battle\/\">by Page Six<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cA Simple Favor\u201d star, 38, first\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/12\/31\/entertainment\/blake-lively-sues-justin-baldoni-for-emotional-distress-lost-wages\/\">sued Baldoni in December 2024<\/a>, claiming he sexually harassed her while filming \u201cIt Ends With Us.\u201d Lively also accused him of spearheading a smear campaign against her.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter and<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/01\/16\/entertainment\/justin-baldoni-sues-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds-for-400m-drags-taylor-swift-into-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> countersued Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds<\/a>, their publicist Leslie Sloane and Sloane\u2019s p.r. firm Vision PR Inc. for $400 million in January.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum accused his \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d co-star of defamation and extortion.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Baldoni then accused Lively of calling Reynolds, 48, and Swift, 35, her \u201cdragons\u201d and referring to herself as Khaleesi from \u201cGame of take the deposition of Taylor Swift during the week of October 20-25 due to Ms. Swift\u2019s preexisting professional obligations,\u201d Baldoni\u2019s filing stated, noting Swift \u201cagreed to appear\u201d but is \u201cunable to do so before October 20.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Swift\u2019s new album,\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-new-album-life-of-a-showgirl-everything-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d comes out<\/a>\u00a0on Oct. 3.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Taylor Swift, Blake Lively, Sophie Turner and Robyn Lively out to dinner. <span class=\"credit\">MEGA<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lively\u2019s legal team, however, is pushing back on the deposition request in another filing obtained by Page Six on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Her lawyers claim that Baldoni\u2019s attorneys had plenty of time to schedule her deposition before the discovery deadline and question whether the superstar even agreed to their request.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this latest effort, the Wayfarer Defendants assert\u2014though, notably, without evidence\u2014that Ms. Swift has supposedly \u2018agreed\u2019 to sit for a deposition sometime between October 20-25 (some three weeks after the close of fact discovery in this matter),\u201d the court docs read.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYet, even if one were to take the Wayfarer Defendants\u2019 representation at face value, they have not come close to establishing good cause for their requested relief.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Post reached out to reps for Swift, Baldoni and Lively.<\/p>\n<p>Swift was dragged into the legal battle when Baldoni claimed in his lawsuit that the singer was present for his pivotal meeting with Lively at the NYC penthouse she shares with Reynolds about allegedly rewriting the\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/01\/27\/entertainment\/justin-baldoni-apologizes-to-blake-lively-in-alleged-voice-note\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">infamous rooftop scene<\/a> from the film.<\/p>\n<p>Baldoni\u2019s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, then issued a letter to Judge Lewis J. Liman, claiming he was told by an anonymous source that Lively\u2019s attorney, Michael Gottlieb, allegedly threatened to\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/14\/entertainment\/blake-livelys-lawyer-allegedly-threatened-to-leak-taylor-swift-texts\/\">release Swift\u2019s text messages<\/a>\u00a0if she didn\u2019t publicly support the actress.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni on set. <span class=\"credit\">Christopher Peterson \/ SplashNews.com<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Gottlieb denied the allegations \u2014\u00a0and the judge granted\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/15\/entertainment\/blake-lively-wins-motion-to-strike-taylor-swift-text-threat-claims\/\">Lively\u2019s motion to strike the letter<\/a>, calling Freedman\u2019s\u00a0filing \u201cimproper\u201d and \u201cirrelevant\u201d\u00a0in the order obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d vet has denied all the allegations against her.<\/p>\n<p>In May, Swift was\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/09\/entertainment\/taylor-swift-subpoenaed-in-blake-lively-justin-baldoni-battle-report\/\">subpoenaed as a witness<\/a>. She\u2019s ignored all her groveling excuses.
