Ed Sheeran has already prepared to release music after the international pop star has left this Earth.<\/p>\n
The \u201cAzizam\u201d singer dropped his latest album \u201cPlay\u201d on Friday, Sept. 12. While talking about the new record during a recent interview with Apple Music\u2019s Zane Lowe<\/a>, Sheeran revealed the plan for his next four projects: \u201cPause,\u201d \u201cFast Forward,\u201d \u201cRewind\u201d and \u201cStop.\u201d<\/p>\n When asked if the latter would be his final album, the \u201cPhotograph\u201d singer replied, \u201cWell, no. It actually would be \u2018Stop\u2019 and then \u2018Eject.\u2019 \u2018Eject\u2019 is the album in the will. It\u2019s actually in my will.\u201d<\/p>\n The 4-time Grammy Award winner said he plans “to make a record out of all the songs from the age of 18 [until his death].”<\/p>\n He added that \u201cEject\u201d will include the 10 best songs from his career. The songs will be chosen alongside his wife, Cherry.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll talk to Cherry throughout my life, [and be] like, \u2018I really like this one\u2019,\u201d Sheeran told Lowe.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know how posthumous albums come out, but they\u2019re sort of unplanned? I want to sort of make a planned one,\u201d he continued. \u201cI don\u2019t want to go, and someone just to jumble up stuff and put it out. I want it to be planned.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cShape of You\u201d singer went on to say that he would \u201ctake a long time\u201d to create \u201cStop.\u201d However, Sheeran doesn\u2019t anticipate it being his final original body of work.<\/p>\n \u201cI think I\u2019ll probably still make music from there, but I think it has to be made with the same level of care and attention,\u201d he said while comparing \u201cStop\u201d to Jay-Z\u2019s \u201cThe Black Album.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI love \u2018The Black Album\u2019 and it\u2019s because he\u2019s like, \u2018This is my last thing I\u2019m giving to the world,\u2019\u201d Sheeran said.<\/p>\n Sheeran\u2019s next round of works will follow his seven previous studio albums \u2014 comprising his uber successful projects \u201cPlus,\u201d \u201cMultiply,\u201d \u201cDivide\u201d and \u201cEquals.\u201d<\/p>\n Sheeran, who has sold roughly 200 millions records worldwide, is one of the best-selling music artists in history.<\/p>\n Read the original article on MassLive<\/a>.
