After helping his stepdad<\/a>, guitarist Mick Jones, get Foreigner into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Mark Ronson is boosting their new effort to serve as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce\u2019s wedding band<\/a>. And he\u2019s offering to DJ himself, too.<\/p>\n On The Tonight Show Thursday, Jimmy Fallon shared an open letter Foreigner wrote to the recently-engaged<\/a> couple<\/a>: \u201cWe know what love is. We spent 40 years figuring it out\u2026and now you guys have too. Please accept this as our formal offer to be your wedding band.\u201d<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n With a smile, Ronson responded, \u201cWe need to get McCartney on that campaign,\u201d acknowledging the work the former Beatle also did to boost Foreigner\u2019s Rock Hall bid. But then Ronson added, \u201cWhile we\u2019re here \u2014 if you guys need a DJ, Taylor, Travis?\u201d<\/p>\n Fallon then deadpanned, \u201cYeah, if you need a comedian to go as well, I can do some stand-up.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, Ronson did open up about his emotional reaction to Foreigner\u2019s induction<\/a> into the Rock Hall<\/a> last year. \u201cMy stepdad has done so much for me, he\u2019s such a huge influence \u2014 I was so much more excited when they got in than any other award or anything I ever got,\u201d Ronson said. \u201cI actually broke down and cried when I found out that they got in.\u201d<\/p>\n Ronson is currently promoting his new memoir, Night People: How to Be a DJ in \u201990s New York City<\/a>, which \u2014 as its title suggests \u2014 is filled with memories from his early days as a DJ and producer in New York City.<\/p>\n \u201cThe book is about a lot of things,\u201d Ronson told Rolling Stone<\/a> recently. \u201cIt\u2019s about DJ\u2019ing, and it\u2019s about going out and partying and the ups and downs of that. And then it\u2019s all about New York in the Nineties. But it\u2019s very much like a ghost story in some ways, because it\u2019s a New York that doesn\u2019t exist anymore, especially downtown New York. It was so different in those days.
