But after seven unforgettable seasons, I have decided to leave SNL.\u201d She continued to thank the writers, cast members, and, of course, the show\u2019s creator, Lorne Michaels. She said how much she had grown by taking the stage week after week. Ego signed off by telling everyone to invite her to their weddings.<\/p>\n As expected, fans were devastated by the news that she was leaving. Even celebrities were commenting on her post about their heartbreak. \u201cOmg why is everyone leaving SNL all of the sudden? This diva used to carry so much on her back,\u201d wrote a fan on X<\/a>. Another penned<\/a>, \u201cNoooo!!! That sucks! She was hilarious on SNL.\u201d<\/p>\n On Instagram, her former colleagues were singing her praises in the comment section.
