LITTLE ROCK, AR (KATV) \u2014 <\/span>This weekend, Argenta Plaza will transform into a bustling hub of local entrepreneurship as the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce hosts its inaugural “Shop Small” pop-up market. <\/p>\n The event, designed to celebrate and support local businesses, promises a delightful day out for the entire family.<\/p>\n “We really want to build a platform for small business,” said Isaac Morales, chair of the Minority Business Accelerator Committee.<\/p>\n “What a better space for them to be in Argenta Plaza, where they get a bigger exposure.”<\/p>\n The event, which runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, is free to attend and will feature a variety of vendors offering everything from sweet treats and lemonade to local jewelry and artwork. <\/p>\n “There’s something for everyone there,” said MBA Director of Communications, Reynardo Marks.<\/p>\n The pop-up market is more than just a shopping opportunity; it’s a chance to uplift small and minority-owned businesses in North Little Rock and surrounding areas. <\/p>\n “We think that it’s going to have a significant impact on the community,” said Marks.<\/p>\n “We’re essentially there to uplift those businesses and fuel some economic growth.”<\/p>\n In addition to shopping, attendees can enjoy live music and other activities happening around Argenta Plaza. <\/p>\n The event is a collaboration with local partners, including the city of North Little Rock, the tourism office, and the Argenta Downtown Council.<\/p>\n
