DJ Khaled<\/a> is making it clear: he\u2019s not picking sides in rap beefs<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a new episode of Fat Joe<\/a> and Jadakiss<\/a>\u2019 Joe and Jada podcast, Khaled was asked about his history with rap conflicts and the roles he plays behind the scenes at the five-minute, 20-second mark in the video linked above.<\/p>\n \u201cYou’ve been in many rap beefs,\u201d said Fat Joe. \u201cYou was in Fat Joe, 50 Cent<\/a> beef. When Beanie came out of jail, I had Jada and Beans on a record and talking like a different type of talk. I’m the one that was behind the scenes when [Rick] Ross<\/a> and Young Jeezy<\/a> was going at it cause Ross is my brother \u2026 But I got love for Jeezy, that’s my brother too. A real one like me gonna always say, \u2018We gotta come together. We gotta stick together. We can never let nobody divide and conquer us.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n When asked about conflicts involving Drake<\/a>, Ross, and Future<\/a>, Khaled didn\u2019t hesitate.<\/p>\n \u201cI didn’t get in that energy. There’s two energies I’m not gonna get in. Hate,\u201d Khaled said. \u201cThose are my brothers. You can’t question my friendship. How? It’s impossible. Ain’t nobody like motherfucking DJ Khaled.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cWhen it come to me \u2026 I’m gonna tell my brothers we gotta represent love. A lot of this s**t is a misunderstanding and a lot of \u2018not communication,\u2019 okay? \u2026 When it come down to DJ Khaled, I’m the one that’s gonna try to fix it. I don’t want no trophy. I don’t want no promotion. I do a lot of s**t behind the scenes. At the end of the day, I love my brothers and my brothers know that. I guarantee you they know that, that’s what I’m about.\u201d<\/p>\n Further into the podcast, Fat Joe asked Khaled whether he could squash any ongoing conflicts.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to squash it,\u201d Khaled said. \u201cEverything\u2019s possible with God, okay? \u2026 And I believe in God and I roll with God. They ain’t believe in us, God did. \u2026 Joe, take it how you wanna take it. I’m about unity, peace, love, and I’m, and when it come down to music, Jada, I’m a collaborator.
