Madison Cunningham has collaborated with Fleet Foxes on her latest single, \u2018Wake\u2019<\/a>. The gorgeous, winsome ballad, taken from Cunningham\u2019s forthcoming album Ace<\/em><\/a>, makes great use of her vocal chemistry with Robin Pecknold. Listen to it below.<\/p>\n \u201cFleet Foxes\u2019 melodies and songs have inspired me for as long as I can remember,\u201d commented Cunningham, who met Pecknold backstage at one of her shows. \u201cI feel quite lucky to have been able to experience his genius up close.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWorking with Madison on this was a humbling and enlightening experience!\u201d Pecknold said. \u201cWe did maybe ten takes where she played and sang perfectly every time and I struggled to keep up. She\u2019s a force and an inspiration, thank you so much Madison for pushing things forward so masterfully.\u201d<\/p>\n Ace<\/em> is set for release on October 10 via Verve.
