The Young and the Restless<\/em>\u00a0spoilers for Monday, September 12, fin<\/span>d Cane telling Amanda about his newest plan. Maybe this one will actually work?<\/p>\n Cane (Billy Flynn) spent years building an empire, outsmarting everyone who came sniffing around regarding his true identity. But then he came up against Victor (Eric Braeden). And all Cane\u2019s brilliance dissolved<\/a> like M&Ms in your mouth, not in your hand. Now Victor has the upper hand. To the point where Cane is willing to give up his years of planning to Billy (Jason Thompson).<\/p>\n Or, at least that\u2019s what he said. Reality may be a bit more complicated. Which is why he needs Amanda\u2019s (Mishael Morgan) wisdom. Hopefully, she\u2019ll keep him from doing something too stupid.<\/p>\n Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) made it clear to Michael (Christian Le Blanc) that she\u2019d be willing to forgive him for not backing up her illegal schemes if he admitted he was wrong not to risk his own legal license for her nutty cause. Michael isn\u2019t quite willing to go that far (we hope).<\/p>\n But he is willing to throw his lot in with Phyllis now that she\u2019s Cane\u2019s biggest fangirl\u2026 and Cane wants Michael to work for him. It\u2019s all sunshine and roses now. But what happens when Michael does the right thing \u2014 again \u2014 and Phyllis takes it personally.<\/p>\n Ever since Cane came back to Genoa City, he\u2019s been spending as much time pining over Lily (Christel Khalil) as he has reminding everyone that he\u2019s a big power player now. Lily has sung every verse of \u201cWe are never, ever getting back together\u201d she can think of, but Cane isn\u2019t buying a clue.<\/p>\n Devon (Bryton James) is kind of sick of the whole thing.
