After nearly a decade, the moms of Monterey are ready to reunite for Season 3 of Big Little Lies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reese Witherspoon<\/a>, who executive produces and stars as Madeline Mackenzie in the HBO drama, recently gave an update on the long-awaited return of the show after Deadline exclusively reported that Season 3 is in the works.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe might be working on Season 3,\u201d she said on The Tonight Show<\/a> Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>. \u201cYeah, I mean, they\u2019re writing it. It\u2019s exciting too, just to get the gang back together and have everybody start talking about it. It\u2019s really fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

Witherspoon acknowledged that it\u2019s \u201cbeen a minute\u201d since she got all her co-stars together after Season 2 concluded in 2019, following the 2017 premiere of the show based on Liane Moriarty<\/a>\u2018s 2014 novel.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been about 10 years, maybe nine years?\u201d added Witherspoon. \u201cAnd all those little kids [who] were in second grade, they\u2019re all teenagers now.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
