Dreams to Dream<\/em> will be out on November 7th<\/h4>\n

Jake Owen will release his new studio album Dreams to Dream<\/em><\/a>, produced by Shooter Jennings and Jake Owen and recorded at Snake Mountain (Sunset Sound Studio 3) in Los Angeles. The new album also features Jamey Johnson on \u201cThe Jukebox Knows,\u201d and Savannah Conley on \u201cThem Old Love Songs,\u201d with writing credits that include Owen\u2019s longtime friends and acclaimed songwriters Ben Chapman and Kendell Marvel. Dreams to Dream<\/em> is due out November 7th via Good Company Entertainment.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes you need to get outside what\u2019s comfortable, what people think you are, or think you should be, and take a risk,\u201d Owen shares.<\/p>\n

With the album announcement, Owen has also shared \u201cLong Time Lovin\u2019 You.\u201d For him, \u201cLong Time Lovin\u2019 You\u201d is simple, easy, and real.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom loves those types of songs where my voice is very soft and kind of pleasant on the ear,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n

When Owen was a boy down in Vero Beach, Florida, he used to pick out country tunes by the likes of Hank Williams Jr. and Merle Haggard on back porches for his parents. \u201cLong Time Lovin\u2019 You\u201d follows the release of the title track, \u201cDreams to Dream,\u201d as well as a stunning cover of the Waylon Jennings tune, \u201cThem Old Love Songs,\u201d reimagined in the studio with Jennings.<\/p>\n

A trusted troubadour for hot summer nights and cold beers, Owen is now in his forties, tangling with separations from lost lovers, raising kids, and growing out of the fresh-faced kid who headed down to Nashville 20 years back with a six-string and a dream. Not that he doesn\u2019t still have both \u2014 the latter has just matured. Dreams to Dream<\/em>, Owen\u2019s long-awaited foray into old-school country, shines a light on raw and authentic storytelling that dives into real-life experiences like heartbreak, struggle, and defiance.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the album release, Owen will join Darius Rucker for five shows in the UK from September 29th through October 5th. Then, at the end of October, Jake will team up with Dirty Heads for a small run of shows in Florida, October 23-26, before wrapping up the year with the annual Flamingo Weekend, benefiting The Jake Owen Foundation.<\/p>\n
