Vince Neil<\/strong> recently got candid about a serious medical condition he endured.<\/p>\n On Friday, September 12, the M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce frontman, 64, gave an interview to the Las Vegas Review-Journal <\/a>and revealed he experienced a stroke in his sleep on Christmas night in 2024.<\/p>\n \u201cI had a stroke,\u201d the rockstar told the outlet. \u201cMy whole left side went out.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI had to learn to walk again, and that was tough,\u201d the singer admitted. \u201cThe doctors said they didn\u2019t think I\u2019d be able to go back on stage again. I go, \u2018No, no, I\u2019m gonna do it. Watch and see.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Neil also detailed some of his recovery process.<\/p>\n \u201cI went from people carrying me to the bathroom, because I couldn\u2019t walk myself, finally to a wheelchair,\u201d he recalled. \u201cI graduated to a walker, and then I had a cane. Now I don\u2019t need anything. But it\u2019s like a full-time job getting back to where you feel good again.\u201d<\/p>\n Lies Angeles \/ MEGA<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt takes a while to get your brain to start moving your legs, for them to do what your brain wants to do,\u201d he added. \u201cYou try to walk but it doesn\u2019t come out right.\u201d<\/p>\n In terms of getting back into shape, the musician said he worked with a Nashville-based football coach, who taught him some drills.<\/p>\n \u201cI learned how to run again,\u201d he shared. \u201cIt\u2019s been tough, but I\u2019m back, I\u2019m 90-, 95-percent to where I was before, and it\u2019s going to be great.\u201d<\/p>\n In March, M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce announced that they would have to postpone their residency dates at Dolby Live at Park MGM Las Vegas \u201cdue to a required medical procedure recently advised by vocalist Vince Neil\u2019s doctors,\u201d according to an Instagram<\/a> statement at the time.
