Rose returned in season 2<\/a> \u2014 which premiered in January \u2014 though she and Peter broke up at its conclusion.<\/p>\n In her interview with Deadline, Buchanan explained that the writers opted not to include Rose in season 3 for fear of diminishing her role.<\/p>\n \u201cThey called me not so long after season 2, and they were like, we\u2019ve been trying to find a way to bring her in, but we want to do her character justice and not make her a sub-character,\u201d she noted. \u201cI totally respected that decision and agreed. I was like, if it makes sense to a story, I\u2019ll do that.
