Beyond the Gates <\/em>is expanding with a new resident headed towards Fairmount Crest with\u00a0Izaiah Hawthorne (David Lami Friebe<\/strong>) joining the soap.<\/p>\n Series creator and head writer Michelle Val Jean <\/strong>was interviewed <\/a>by TV Insider discussing all things Beyond the Gates<\/em> and teased the upcoming fall season. During this conversation she discussed Izaiah\u2019s arrival.<\/p>\n \u201cHe is not Jacob by any means, He\u2019s the black sheep of the family, but he got a hand up by somebody that will surprise you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n Val Jean went on to tease that he is going to be a new love interest for one of the series females. Just who the show runner wouldn\u2019t reveal just yet, but fans won\u2019t have to wait too long to find out, as Izaiah will be joining the show shortly.<\/p>\n Izaiah\u2019s brother Jacob (Jibere Hordges<\/strong>) and sister-in-law Naomi (Arielle Prepetit<\/strong>) are a central unit to Fairmont Crest, as Naomi\u2019s maternal family, the Dupree\u2019s, are the main focus of the soap opera.<\/p>\n Jacob and Izaiah\u2019s father, Elon, is the chief of police. Their mother, Darlene, is described as a dispatcher, and they share another brother Luke.<\/p>\n The head writer teased that he is going to have a unique job to the soap.
