A month after Sam Asghari<\/strong> dubbed him a \u201cprofessional father,\u201d Kevin Federline<\/strong> is embracing the title!<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not too worried about what Sam thinks, but I do love the tagline \u2018professional father,\u2019\u201d Federline told a photographer in response to a diss made by Britney Spears<\/strong>\u2019 third husband, Page Six<\/em> <\/a>reported.<\/p>\n Asghari, 31 \u2014 who was married to Spears, 43, from 2022 to 2024 \u2014 first slammed Federline last month amid news the former backup dancer was releasing a memoir.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, he was a professional father,\u201d Asghari quipped when asked about the book in a clip posted by TMZ<\/em><\/a> on August 16. \u201cIt would be the first book that\u2019ll tell you how to be a professional father.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think every father should strive to be a professional father,\u201d Federline added.<\/p>\n Federline, 47, is dad to daughter Kori<\/strong>, 23, and son Kaleb<\/strong>, 21, with ex Shar Jackson<\/strong>, Sean Preston<\/strong>, who turns 20 on September 14, and Jayden James<\/strong>, 19, with Spears, and daughters Jordan<\/strong>, 14, and Peyton<\/strong>, 11, with his current wife Victoria Prince<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Federline is releasing a memoir<\/a>, You Thought You Knew<\/em>, in October, about his career and tumultuous marriage to Spears from 2004 to 2007. After their split, he was granted sole custody of their sons and has worked sporadically as a DJ.<\/p>\n He reportedly earned up to $40,000 a month in child support<\/a> from Spears while the boys were minors. He moved with them to Hawaii in 2023.<\/p>\n As Star<\/em> previously reported, Spears has recently been reconnecting with her sons following a period of estrangement. On August 24, the former pop star took to Instagram to reflect on that painful<\/a> time while also discussing her marriage to Asghari.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re just people so fragile and human the hardest years of my life were my two sons gone for those 3 years,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI was cut off from calling or texting and I remember in shock my secret to survival was denial and a lot of tears its weird me and Sam were married but it almost felt like a fake distraction to help me deal with it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur marriage was very real to me.
