Teyana Taylor<\/strong> spoke about channeling her inner Tom Cruise <\/strong>to perform stunts in the new Leonardo DiCaprio<\/strong> movie, One Battle After Another<\/strong>. Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another is a dark comedy scheduled to release on September 26, 2025. Apart from Taylor and DiCaprio, it stars Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, and Regina Hall, among many others.<\/p>\n In an interview with Variety<\/a>, Teyana Taylor discussed her character Perfidia in One Battle After Another. She first spoke about a very specific scene from the trailer where she shoots a machine gun while being pregnant, which appears around the 37-second mark.<\/p>\n \u201cB\u2014-, I felt like Tony Montana,\u201d referring to Al Pacino\u2019s character from Scarface. \u201cIt was cute, it was real cute. I had a good time because I don\u2019t know if I would do that in real life\u2026Maybe [but] without the belly,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n The 34-year-old actress continued to talk about performing her own stunts. \u201cBy the way, I did all my own stunts. Well, like 99% of them\u2026You know, I like to feel like Tom Cruise on set. Watch out, Tom Cruise,\u201d Taylor shared.<\/p>\n In the interview, DiCaprio also spoke about his character, Bob Ferguson, as a guy \u201cthat sits home and smokes pot all the time.\u201d The Revenant actor shared that he took major inspiration from Jeff Bridges\u2019 The Big Lebowski from 1998. While DiCaprio didn\u2019t perform all his stunts in the movie, he described the few stunts he did as \u201ca series of failures.\u201d<\/p>\n The film is written by Anderson, who produced it with Adam Somner and Sara Murphy.
