Sharon Osbourne posted a heartfelt message to fans on Friday, thanking them for their support following the death of her husband and metal legend Ozzy Osbourne<\/a>, who died<\/a> on July 22.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you\u2019ve shown on social media,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram post. \u201cYour comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it\u2019s carried me through many nights.\u201d<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n Sharon also revealed that she has formed a newfound connection with falconry, which her daughter Kelly Osbourne had introduced<\/a> her to the day before. Alongside the post, Sharon shared a video of her and Kelly with the trained birds of prey. In one clip, an owl glides toward Sharon\u2019s extended arm before gracefully perching on it.<\/p>\n \u201cThough I\u2019m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with. The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence,\u201d continued Sharon. \u201cThey\u2019ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It\u2019s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.\u201d<\/p>\n She ended her note by writing, \u201cI love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this month, Sharon and Ozzy\u2019s son Jack Osbourne<\/a>\u00a0recounted his final week with his father <\/a>in the first episode of his podcast since\u00a0his passing. \u201cAfter my dad\u2019s show in Birmingham, I stuck around, hung out for a week with the family at the house with my kids, it was a really amazing week,\u201d Jack said. \u201cMy dad was in an amazing mood. Every day, he was opening up the newspaper and seeing different reviews and different stories from the Back to the Beginning show, and it was great.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Jack said his immediate reaction was a surge of \u201csadness and pain\u2026 so many thoughts,\u201d he later said he was grateful for the timing of Ozzy\u2019s death so soon after Black Sabbath<\/a>\u2018s Back to the Beginning concert<\/a>: \u201cThere is almost a perfection to it.
