Taylor Swift<\/a><\/strong> has been given the stamp of approval from rock music legend, Bryan Adams<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Canadian musician, 65, sang Swift’s praises in a recent interview, where he looked back on a live duet the pair performed together back in 2018.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfacSIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfac<\/p>\n During her 2018 tour, the Reputation Stadium tour, Swift brought out Adams as a special at her concert in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where they joined forced for a duet of the rocker’s hit song, “Summer of ’69.”<\/p>\n While reminiscing on the experience in a new interview with Guitar World<\/a>, Adams said Swift, 35, is one of the only other musicians who has done “justice” to the 1985 hit single.<\/p>\n “There’s been all kinds of people who have taken the songs and remixed, rearranged, re-recorded, and done their versions, but very seldom has anyone beaten the original,” Adams told the outlet. “The only person I can think of who did a version of\u00a0‘Summer of ’69’, and did such justice was Taylor Swift.”<\/p>\n “Well, I think Taylor\u2019s version\u2014no pun intended\u2014was when she invited me to sing with her,\u201d Adams recalled, before going on to explain why Swift’s cover stands out among all the artists who have performed different renditions of “Summer of ’69.”<\/p>\n “She sang the lead vocal, I sang the harmony, and that was really fun for me because I\u2019ve always thought that the harmony in that song is very subliminal on the record\u2014but it\u2019s there,” he said. “That harmony is one of the key things that most people don\u2019t get when they hear the song, they don\u2019t realize how important it is.
