Right now, you can watch Eve Myles<\/a> on the dark psychological thriller The Crow Girl<\/a><\/em>, releasing in the U.S. on Mondays on Acorn TV. In it, she plays DCI Jeanette Kilburn, who, along with her partner DI Lou Stanley (Dougray Scott<\/a>), is trying to track down whoever\u2019s killing young men. Myles and Scott are also both part of the cast of ITV Studios\u2019 The Hack<\/a><\/em>, premiering in the U.K. on Wednesday, September 24, but as she tells TV Insider while discussing the aforementioned series<\/a>, they don\u2019t share any scenes. (It\u2019s a good thing we get plenty of them onscreen together on The Crow Girl<\/em> because they are great scene partners.)<\/p>\n The Hack<\/em> is a seven-part drama set between 2002 and 2012, following the work of investigative journalist Nick Davies (David Tennant<\/a>), who found evidence of phone hacking (a scandal that took down the now defunct British newspaper\u00a0News of the World<\/em>) and the investigation into the unsolved murder of a private investigator, Daniel Morgan. It also stars Toby Jones<\/a>, Robert Carlyle<\/a>, Steve Pemberton<\/a>, Lisa McGrillis<\/a>, Adrian Lester<\/a>, and others.<\/p>\n The Hack<\/em> is a reunion for Myles with Tennant; they worked together on\u00a0Doctor Who<\/em><\/a> and\u00a0Broadchurch<\/a><\/em> (Season 2). They do share scenes in the new series, she confirms.<\/p>\n \u201c[That] is always lovely because he\u2019s possibly the most generous, loveliest person you\u2019d ever want to meet. He\u2019s just a consummate professional. He\u2019s wonderful. So that was great to be back on with David,\u201d she shares.<\/p>\n Myles plays opposite Carlyle, and it was the first time she worked with the actor, who can next be seen this fall in the U.S. recurring as Sherlock Holmes<\/a> on CBS\u2019s Watson<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n Myles describes Carlyle as \u201ca national treasure. He\u2019s an icon, and you only get those kinds of titles when you are as professional and generous and kind and brilliant as he is.\u201d<\/p>\n She adds, \u201cI\u2019ve been really, really lucky, the last couple of years, who I\u2019ve worked with, they\u2019ve inspired me, all of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
