Malcolm-Jamal Warner\u2019s<\/strong><\/a> costars are stepping up for his widow, Tenisha Warner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSending you and your beautiful girl all the love What a beautiful tribute and we are here for you,\u201d Emily VanCamp<\/strong>, who played nurse practitioner Nicolette Nevin on the series from 2018 to 2023, wrote in the comments section of Tenisha\u2019s emotional Friday, September 12 Instagram post<\/a>, in which she came forward to thank friends, family and her husband\u2019s fans for \u201cholding us in so much love\u201d in the wake of Malcolm-Jamal\u2019s untimely death.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a beautiful tribute Tenisha,\u201d Manish Dayal<\/strong>, who played Dr. Devon Pravesh, also wrote. \u201cThank you for honoring him in this profound way if you need anything at all, please don\u2019t hesitate.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anuja Joshi<\/strong>, who played Dr. Leela Devi, commented, \u201cSending you so much love Tenisha. Holding you and your daughter close in prayer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Malcolm-Jamal died on July 20, 2025, after drowning at the Playa Grande beach in Costa Rica during a family trip. He was 54.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for holding us in so much love during this tender time,\u201d Tenisha wrote in the caption on her post. \u201cTomorrow marks our anniversary \u2014 and my heart is wide open. For the first time, I\u2019m sharing a glimpse of the love that began it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cI can still hear my husband\u2019s laugh, still feel the way he made room for every part of me \u2014 every tear, every dream. Today, in his honor, my daughter and I are launching River & Ember and officially opening The Warner Family Foundation.<\/p>\n
