M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce <\/strong>made their way back on stage in Las Vegas on Friday, September 12, launching their long-awaited residency<\/a> at Dolby Live at Park MGM.<\/p>\n The shows had initially been set for spring but were rescheduled after frontman Vince Nei<\/strong>l revealed he\u2019d suffered a stroke last Christmas.<\/p>\n In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/em><\/a>, Neil opened up about the health scare for the first time. \u201cI had a stroke. My whole left side went out\u2026 I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough,\u201d the 64-year-old shared. Doctors even doubted he\u2019d return to performing, but Neil insisted otherwise. \u201cI go, \u2018No, no, I\u2019m gonna do it. Watch and see,\u2019\u201d he told the outlet.<\/p>\n Neil described the difficult recovery process, from being carried to the bathroom to moving through various walking aids. \u201cI went from people carrying me to the bathroom, because I couldn\u2019t walk myself, finally to a wheelchair. I graduated to a walker, and then I had a cane. Now I don\u2019t need anything. You try to walk but it doesn\u2019t come out right,\u201d he said, adding that he\u2019s now about \u201c90, 95 percent to where I was before.\u201d<\/p>\n The Cr\u00fce\u2019s residency runs through October 3 and marks their third time setting up shop in Sin City, following runs in 2012 and 2013. Neil hadn\u2019t performed with the band since October 2024\u2019s Aftershock festival.
