Sharon Osbourne<\/a>\u00a0is expressing her gratitude for the abundance of support she’s received since the death of her husband<\/a>, heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne.\u00a0<\/p>\n In her first\u00a0Instagram post<\/a>\u00a0Sept. 12 since the Black Sabbath frontman\u2019s death in July, Sharon Osbourne thanked her followers for \u201cthe overwhelming love and support\u201d on social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cYour comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it\u2019s carried me through many nights,” she wrote.<\/p>\n Alongside her message, Sharon Osbourne shared a video of herself and daughter Kelly Osbourne in a field, with birds flying onto her gloved hand.<\/p>\n \u201cThough I\u2019m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with. The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence,\u201d she continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n Explaining that the birds will only perch \u201cif they sense you are safe and unafraid of them,\u201d she added, \u201cit\u2019s a bond I know all too well.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI love you all, and I thank you deeply for the otherworldly amount of love you continue to send my way,\u201d she concluded the post, adding a peace sign and a heart emoji.\u00a0<\/p>\n Members of Ozzy Osbourne’s family\u00a0shared news of the rock singer’s death in a statement July 22.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cHe was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,\u201d the statement read.\u00a0<\/p>\n The message was signed by Sharon Osbourne and their children, Jack Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne and Aimee Osbourne. Louis Osbourne, whom Ozzy Osbourne shared with ex-wife Thelma Riley, signed the statement, as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n Ozzy Osbourne reportedly\u00a0died at 76 from a heart attack<\/a>, according a death certificate obtained by\u00a0The New York Times<\/a>. Cardiac arrest, coronary artery disease and Parkinson\u2019s disease with autonomic dysfunction were also listed as causes of death.\u00a0<\/p>\n While Sharon Osbourne’s Sept. 12 Instagram post marks the first time the singer’s wife posted on social media about his death, their daughter\u00a0Kelly Osbourne shared a message<\/a>\u00a0days after his passing.\u00a0<\/p>\n In an Instagram story July 24, Kelly Osbourne quoted Black Sabbath\u2019s 1972 hit \u201cChanges,\u201d writing, \u201cI feel unhappy. I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had,\u201d with a broken heart emoji.<\/p>\n
