Haley Welch, the viral TikTok sensation better known as the \u201cHawk Tuah\u201d girl, has officially broken her silence and baby, she did not hold back. In a rare serious video that\u2019s already racked up more than 450,000 views on her TikTok<\/a>, Welch stepped into territory she openly admits she doesn\u2019t like: politics, tragedy, and the dark side of social media. And she did it in her signature raw, no-filter style.<\/p>\n Welch starts her video with a confession: she usually avoids \u201cserious\u201d topics because, well, that\u2019s not her vibe. But after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, gunned down in front of students and his own family, she said she couldn\u2019t just sit in silence.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t really give a shit who I offend when I say this,\u201d she declared, immediately setting the tone. \u201cFor some people to get on this app and applaud another human being being unalived in front of his family is fucking sick. She zoomed out and blasted what she sees as a much bigger problem, how quick Americans are to divide and dehumanize each other.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat you people don\u2019t realize is we are more alike than we are different. We all bleed the same fucking color at the end of the day,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s one of the biggest problems with this country right now. Y\u2019all wanna divide so bad. Why?\u201d<\/p>\n Her frustration was palpable, and she made it clear she sees social media as a breeding ground for cruelty rather than connection.<\/p>\n In a sharp pivot, Welch also linked Kirk\u2019s killing to broader violence in the U.S., referencing the viral stabbing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte light rail.<\/p>\n \u201cA woman should be allowed to go anywhere she wants to by herself and should not have to fear for her life,\u201d Welch said, her voice breaking slightly at the thought.<\/p>\n This moment gave her video a uniquely female lens, pointing out that women are disproportionately reminded of how unsafe the world can be.<\/p>\n And in true Haley Welch fashion, she closed the video unapologetically. \u201cI don\u2019t really give a fuck who I just offended.
