Mobb Deep<\/a> have released their first song since the death of Prodigy<\/a> in 2017.<\/p>\n

“Against The World” is now out, and the track features the late rapper\u2019s voice opening the song with, “Stronger than ever, I\u2019m back n****a.”<\/p>\n

Mobb Deep\u2019s other half, Havoc<\/a>, explained how he felt about the song to Rolling Stone<\/a>. <\/em>\u201cThis one feels like coming full circle,\u201d said the rapper. \u201cIt\u2019s that classic Mobb energy \u2014\u00a0dark, real, unfiltered. That sound that shaped who we are but also speaks to where hip-hop is right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAgainst The World\u201d is the first single from the group\u2019s upcoming album, Infinite<\/em> that\u2019s set to drop on Oct. 10 as a part of Mass Appeal Records\u2019 Legend Has It <\/em>series.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Alchemist revealed how Infinite <\/em>came together. \u201cI had songs with P on it. [Havoc] had some songs, we had some stuff that we mixed up,\u201d revealed the producer to Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/em> \u201cSome stuff we had to do beats, some stuff he was already on, and Hav just rhymed. But it really felt good that we put the energy back together and did it the way we were supposed to. That\u2019s how we always did it. Hav does the majority of the album. I do a couple, I think I did four in the end.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mobb Deep\u2019s new song is out a few months before its upcoming tour with Raekwon<\/a>. In August, the two rap acts announced a co-headlining tour that celebrates the 30th anniversaries of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx\u2026<\/em> and The Infamous.<\/em><\/p>\n

The tour kicks off in Portland, Oregon, on Nov. 13 and wraps up in Miami Beach, Florida, on Dec. 15.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Havoc previewed what attendees will experience when they come to the shows. \u201cThe fans can expect nothing less than pure, raw, unfiltered energy on stage,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m excited to celebrate these two legendary albums\u2014the world doesn\u2019t exist to me without that purple tape in it. This will be a tour the fans will never forget.\u201d<\/p>\n

Raekwon also gave his thoughts to hype up fans. \u201cMe and Havoc from Mobb will be pure hip-hop at its finest,\u201d Raekwon said. \u201cThis is gonna take rap shows to the next level\u2014guaranteed!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
