This 10-disc set, which presents eight shows from that decade in either remastered or revised form, is a treasure trove of material recorded in Japan, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While there are inevitably repeated songs across such a wide-ranging set of shows \u2013 especially the most crucial pieces from his work with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/i-really-didnt-expect-the-scale-of-the-success-the-story-behind-asias-self-titled-debut-album\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Asia;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Asia<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/features\/ten-cool-king-crimson-songs-from-the-80s\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:King Crimson;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">King Crimson<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/obsessive-attention-detail-always-eddie-061336401.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:UK;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">UK<\/a> \u2013 there are plenty of variations in performance and arrangement, and Wetton is in fine voice throughout.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Asia\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/prog-still-lived-deeply-inside-153324364.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Heat Of The Moment;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"><em>Heat Of The Moment<\/em><\/a> pops up in every show, of course; but often in rearranged form, while Crimson\u2019s <em>Easy Money<\/em> regularly appears and UK fans get In <em>The Dead Of Night<\/em> at most performances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There are plenty of solo offerings and a few surprises here and there too. <em>Heart Of The Dragon<\/em>, recorded in 1994, sees Bob Dalton and John Beck of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/iron-maiden-don-t-laugh-082234508.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:It Bites;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">It Bites<\/a> on board; Wetton\u2019s solo album, <em>Voice Mail<\/em>, features heavily, and there\u2019s a fine version of Phenomena\u2019s <em>Did It All For Love<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Disc three is from 1995 and features a spirited performance backed by proggers Landmarq with Martin Orford on keys. It also benefits considerably from the late Tracy Hitchings\u2019 vocals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Three discs are devoted to two shows on consecutive nights in 1997 in Japan, by which time Wetton was touring in support of his <em>Arkangel<\/em> album and his band included Dave Kilminster, John Young and Thomas Lang.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Meanwhile, an acoustic show in Milan in 1998, featuring Orford and Kilminster, features some interesting re-arrangements, and an apology from Wetton for his absence the previous night, as he\u2019d just become a father.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The collection concludes with a glorious 1999 show in Japan that balances material from his career to that point.
