Look, I realize that a statement like that is sort of bold, but hear me out. I\u2019m not saying that no show has ever been better than <em>Ted Lasso,<\/em> I\u2019m just saying I\u2019ve never seen it. After using my <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/streaming-news\/apple-tv-subscription-the-plan-the-price-and-whats-included\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Apple TV+ subscription;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Apple TV+ subscription<\/a> to recently watch all three seasons of the show again, I am more convinced than ever that the show is as close to perfect as TV can get.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Whether or not I\u2019m the only one who thinks it&#8217;s perfect, I\u2019m certainly not the only one who thinks it\u2019s great. A lot of people think the show is so good that they\u2019re actually <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/m-excited-ted-lasso-season-201100327.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:not sure about Ted Lasso's return;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">not sure about <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>&#8216;s return<\/a>, for fear the show\u2019s greatness might be damaged in some way if the new season doesn&#8217;t measure up. However, I think <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> is so good that such a thing isn\u2019t actually possible.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">Ted Lasso\u2019s Three Seasons Tell A Complete Story That Cannot Be Tarnished<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Watching all three seasons of <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> simply reinforces what a tightly-wound story it is. Details mentioned back in Season 1 return in Season 3. Every major character, from Ted Lasso and Trent Crimm (The Independent) to, yes, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/ted-lasso-fans-one-big-013000825.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Nate, have satisfying character arcs;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Nate, have satisfying character arcs<\/a>. I know the show didn\u2019t write three seasons of TV up front and then just film the whole thing, but the way the show misses no details makes it feel like it was.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">And then, the show ends where it needed to end. It was the only place it could end. I guess a lot of people had <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/binge-watching-ted-lasso-finally-111129812.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:issues with the Ted Lasso finale;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">issues with the <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> finale<\/a>, but I&#8217;m not one of them. Everybody is where they want to be, or at least where they need to be. Each <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/ted-lassos-32-best-bits-213300328.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:character is a better person because of Ted Lasso;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">character is a better person because of Ted Lasso<\/a>, and Ted is a better person because of everyone else. It\u2019s an incredibly satisfying conclusion as a viewer.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">If Ted Lasso Season 4 Doesn\u2019t Work, Just Ignore It<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But that\u2019s the concern, because the end of Season 3 of <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> won\u2019t be the end of the story. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/streaming-news\/what-cast-ted-lasso-said-season-4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Ted Lasso Season 4 is coming;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \"><em>Ted Lasso <\/em>Season 4 is coming<\/a>. As a fan of <em>Ted Lasso,<\/em> I\u2019m as excited as anybody. I can\u2019t wait to see what happens, and I don\u2019t think there\u2019s a single bad episode of the show. To continue such an incredible streak will be difficult, but even if they don&#8217;t, it&#8217;s fine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">From all reports, the new season of <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> won&#8217;t be so much a continuation of the previous story as a new story starting. We&#8217;ll see Ted take control of a women&#8217;s football team rather than the AFC Richmond we know. This isn&#8217;t the fourth part of an ongoing saga, but an entirely new chapter. As such, it can be easily separated if it doesn&#8217;t measure up.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">Ted Lasso&#8217;s Star Wars Connection Works Here<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In addition to being a <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> fan, I\u2019m also a <em>Star Wars<\/em> fan. Jason Sudekis has <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/tv\/2021\/07\/22\/jason-sudeikis-ted-lasso-season-2-star-wars-fans\/7979429002\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:compared the three seasons of Ted Lasso to Star Wars,;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">compared the three seasons of T<em>ed Lasso<\/em> to Star Wars,<\/a> and the analogy is apt here as well. I\u2019m a fan who enjoys two-thirds of the Sequel Trilogy but admittedly doesn\u2019t love <em>Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker<\/em>. The fact that the Sequel Trilogy really utterly fails to stick the landing annoys me to no end. So much of it is great, and then it ends\u2026 like that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">For this reason, I haven&#8217;t given much time or attention to the Sequel Trilogy since its release. But I can watch the Original Trilogy all day long, and it&#8217;s still great. The fact that the prequels are mid and the Sequel Trilogy ends badly doesn&#8217;t change that the Original Trilogy is pretty great. If what follows the &#8220;<em>Ted Lasso<\/em> trilogy&#8221; isn&#8217;t great, that will be unfortunate, but it won&#8217;t make re-watching the original three seasons bad.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I certainly hope T<em>ed Lasso<\/em> Season 4 is as great as the first three. I have every confidence that even if it&#8217;s not amazing, it will still be pretty good. But even if it&#8217;s not, that&#8217;s fine. Even if it&#8217;s somehow bad, I don&#8217;t care.
