Carr, Frank Morano, and Kamillah Hanks are bringing live music to the borough this fall, with a four-part concert series spread out across their districts. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"X3DU5VLMZRHWVLE27E3B75KWC4\">\u201cBeing able to launch this new concert series with my borough colleagues in the City Council was a no-brainer,\u201d said Carr. \u201cWe\u2019ve never had fall entertainment options and it\u2019s still a great time of the year to be outside. We all hope to continue using music to bring everyone together as a borough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"ZMTYWLBLZNCLJEGMWP7DAEYSRA\">The new Fall Concert Series will start at Father Capodanno Plaza, on the FDR Boardwalk in South Beach, on Friday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. The featured performer is an 80\u2019s themed DJ. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"P4GSAANCNVDQNF4CDU3S355TNE\">The second event is scheduled to be at the Conference House on Friday, Sept. 26 at 6:15 p.m. This event will feature Screaming Broccoli, a NYC-based cover band that was ranked \u201cThe Best Cover Band\u201d by SILive readers in 2014 and 2016. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"JTHMVEVKMVED3M35RU6P2N2WTM\">\u201cOnly on Staten Island can you go from Screaming Broccoli to a screaming alien in the same night,\u201d stated Morano. \u201cFirst the band rocks the Conference House, then E.T. phones home \u2014 assuming he can get better reception than most of us do on Hylan Boulevard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"EFZEZUNKG5BHPPIZUXMX5T55XU\">On Friday, Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m., the Stapleton Waterfront will host The Budos Band, an American instrumental band from Staten Island that was formed in 2005.
