HBO Max<\/a>‘s upcoming reboot of Harry Potter has cast most of its characters for Season 1. However, there is no Voldemort<\/a> yet.<\/p>\n

For months, fans have been asking for Oppenheimer’s Cillian Murphy<\/a> to take on the role of the Dark Lord<\/a>. However, per a new report, the series has already cast the new He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, but is planning on keeping it under wraps until Season 1 airs in 2027. During a new appearance on the Sad, Happy, Confused podcast, Cillian Murphy responded to the fan casting as Voldemort.<\/p>\n

Around the 25:52 mark, host Josh Horowitz<\/a> brings up the Voldemort casting rumors. Asked if there was any truth to the chatter, Murphy replied, “No.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
