The 77th\u00a0Primetime Emmy Awards<\/a>\u00a0are finally here.<\/p>\n TV\u2019s biggest night is set to honor the best in television on Sunday, Sept. 14, live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n Mekhi Phifer, Mindy Kaling, and Zach Braff speak onstage during the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards at Peacock Theater on September 15, 2024.<\/p>\n Fans will see\u00a0their favorite shows<\/a> that aired between June 1, 2024, and May 31, 2025, be honored during the coveted award show.<\/p>\n Apple TV+\u2019s\u00a0\u201cSeverance\u201d is leading the charge with 27 nominations, while Seth Rogen\u2019s\u00a0\u201cThe Studio\u201d is the front-runner for the Comedy category with 23 nods. HBO\u2019s\u00a0\u201cThe Penguin\u201d dominates the Limited Series category with 24 noms.<\/p>\n Keep scrolling for all the details on the prestigious ceremony.<\/p>\n Adam Scott in \u201cSeverance.\u201d<\/p>\n The awards ceremony will air live from LA\u2019s Peacock Theater on CBS on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT, and run for three hours.<\/p>\n Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola in \u201cThe White Lotus.\u201d<\/p>\n Hollywood\u2019s top talent will walk the red carpet outside the Peacock Theater ahead of the show.<\/p>\n Live\u00a0From\u00a0E! will kick off at 6 p.m. ET\/3 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n Actresses Bresha Webb and\u00a0Melissa Peterman, along with designer\u00a0Christian Siriano\u00a0and stylist\u00a0Zanna Roberts Rassi, will break down the nominees\u2019 fashion as the stars head inside the venue.<\/p>\n Entertainment Tonight\u2019s main telecast will also air on CBS and Paramount+ before the ceremony starts.<\/p>\n Nicholas Chavez as Lyle Menendez, Cooper Koch as Erik Menendez.<\/p>\n Comedian\u00a0Nate Bargatze will host the Emmys. The comic, 46, previously hosted\u00a0\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d\u00a0twice, including during their milestone 50th season.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Bargatze shared a video<\/a> on Instagram, rolling out the official carpet.<\/p>\n He wrote, \u201cThe red carpet is rolled out\u2026 the countdown to the 77th Emmy Awards is on.\u00a0#Emmys\u00a0#CBS.\u201d<\/p>\n One day before, while on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live,\u201d the funnyman said he would donate $100,000<\/a> to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America after the ceremony.<\/p>\n Catherine O\u2019Hara, Seth Rogen, Chase Sui Wonders in \u201cThe Studio.\u201d<\/p>\n However, the total amount is dependent on whether the winners go over or under their allotted time during their speech.<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody gets 45 seconds to do all the thank-yous,\u201d Bargatze explained. \u201cSo what I came up with is I\u2019m going to donate $100,000 to the Boys & Girls Club\u2026 That\u2019s what the show\u2019s starting at. When everybody uses their 45 seconds, if someone goes over, we take away $1,000 a second every time they go over.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf you go under, we will put a $1,000 back on,\u201d he added. \u201cSo you can give it back! I know people work hard for the Emmys and stuff. So I feel bad, but that\u2019s [the plan].\u201d<\/p>\n Jeremy Allen White in \u201cThe Bear.\u201d<\/p>\n This year, many fan favorite stars are up for awards.<\/p>\n Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama nominees<\/a> include Keri Russell for \u201cThe Diplomat,\u201d Sharon Horgan for \u201cBad Sisters,\u201d Kathy Bates for \u201cMatlock,\u201d Britt Lower for \u201cSeverance\u201d and Bella Ramsey for \u201cThe Last of Us.\u201d<\/p>\n Rounding out the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy category is Jeremy Allen White (\u201cThe Bear\u201d), Adam Brody (\u201cNobody Wants This\u201d), Martin Short (\u201cOnly Murders in the Building\u201d), Jason Segel (\u201cShrinking\u201d), and Seth Rogen (\u201cThe Studio\u201d).<\/p>\n The workplace thriller series,\u00a0\u201cSeverance,\u201d which stars Adam Scott, Britt Lower, John Turturro, Zach Cherry, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Tramell Tillman and Dichen Lachman, earned the most nods with 27.<\/p>\n James Marsden, Sterling K. Brown in the hit Hulu show \u201cParadise.\u201d<\/p>\n The\u00a0\u201cBatman\u201d spinoff, \u201cThe Penguin,\u201d received 24 nods while \u201cThe Studio\u201d and\u00a0\u201cThe White Lotus\u201d nabbed 23 nominations.
