The 2025 Emmys have arrived. The 77th annual Primetime ceremony airs live Sept. 14 on CBS and Paramount+ at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT, with comedian Nate Bargatze<\/strong> steering the festivities. Alongside honoring the year\u2019s top shows and performances, the broadcast will feature special tributes to beloved series including The Golden Girls<\/em>, Gilmore Girls<\/em>, Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em>, and Law & Order<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The stage is set for history to be made. Apple TV+\u2019s The Studio<\/em> could shatter the comedy record with a potential 13 wins, surpassing the 11 claimed by The Bear<\/em> last year. Matlock<\/em> star Kathy Bates<\/strong> is eyeing a milestone as she looks to become the oldest lead actress drama winner in Emmy history, while 15-year-old Adolescence<\/em> breakout Owen Cooper<\/strong> could become the youngest male Emmy winner ever. Meanwhile, Severance<\/em> standout Tramell Tillman<\/strong> has a chance to become the first Black performer to win Best Supporting Drama Actor.<\/p>\n

After the Creative Arts ceremonies<\/a>, where The Studio<\/em> took home nine awards, Severance<\/em> collected six, and The Penguin<\/em> grabbed eight, the spotlight shifts to the marquee races. Severance<\/em> and The Pitt<\/em> square off for Best Drama, The Studio<\/em> looks to dethrone reigning champ Hacks<\/em> in Best Comedy, and The Penguin<\/em> battles Adolescence<\/em> for Best Limited Series.<\/p>\n
