I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me<\/em> is Lorna<\/strong> Shore<\/strong>‘s second record with vocalist Will<\/strong> Ramos<\/strong> at the helm, and it’s probably one of Lorna<\/strong> Shore<\/strong>‘s most anticipated records ever. Louder<\/em>‘s Matt<\/strong> Mills<\/strong>, Kerrang!<\/em>‘s Sam<\/strong> Law<\/strong>, and New<\/em> Noise<\/em>‘s Lamar<\/strong> Ramos<\/strong> rated the record four out of five stars, with Distorted<\/em> Sound<\/em> giving it a perfect 10, and Rock Sound <\/em>dedicated an entire album story<\/a> spread to the band. It’s difficult for a orchestral deathcore band to gain any media notoriety, whereas Lorna<\/strong> Shore<\/strong> gain the attention with ease. <\/p>\n Granted, it’s for good reason \u2013\u00a0within the first track on the brand new record<\/a>, the band meticulously melts the skin off your head before haphazardly slapping it back on, until they eventually liquefy the entirety of your flesh off your skull, all in seven minutes. For first time listeners of Lorna<\/strong> Shore<\/strong>, it’s a rather unforgettable experience as the band makes you question how it all fits together so seamlessly. The entirety of I Feel The Everblack Festering Within Me<\/em> is one ‘holy shit’<\/em> moment to the next, all in quick succession.<\/p>\n And “Glenwood” is an incredibly deceptive and unexpected track \u2013\u00a0breaking away from the brain-incinerating, full-throttled deathcore to introduce some melodies into the mix. “Glenwood” is symphonic, emotional, and still as intense as one would come to expect from a Lorna<\/strong> Shore<\/strong> track.
