Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> is back in the United States, and Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t be happier.<\/p>\n

Markle toasted to her husband\u2019s safe return following his recent trip to the U.K., sharing a photo via the official Instagram account of her brand As Ever on Sunday, September 14.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen your beau is back in town\u2026\u201d the Duchess of Sussex wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of two glasses of wine.<\/p>\n

Harry traveled to the U.K.<\/a> on September 8 to attend a variety of events, including the WellChild Awards as well as a visit to the Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College London. During his trip, Prince Harry reunited with his estranged father, King Charles<\/strong>, after nearly two years apart on Wednesday, September 10. Photos and video shared via social media revealed the pair each arrived separately to Charles\u2019 London residence, Clarence House.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrince Harry offered just a few words about his private meeting with his father, King Charles III, after the pair reunited for a private tea in London on Wednesday, September 10. \u201cYes, he\u2019s great, thank you,\u201d Harry, 40, responded to a question about his royal reunion during an engagement for his Invictus Games Foundation, which [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The reunion between the pair was described<\/a> as \u201csuper positive and very relaxed\u201d by a source who spoke exclusively to Us<\/em>. \u201cThe meeting was sparked by a handwritten letter from Harry earlier this year to Charles expressing his desire to reconnect,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n

Of the conversation, the source continued, \u201cThey were catching up personally about the children and what has been going on with Charles and his health. There were hugs and tears at the meeting.\u201d<\/p>\n

The last time Harry publicly visited his father was in February 2024, shortly after the monarch\u2019s cancer diagnosis.<\/p>\n

\u201cCharles does want to meet Harry,\u201d a royal source told Us<\/em><\/a> in a September cover story. \u201cHe doesn\u2019t want this falling-out to overshadow his legacy. But Harry has caused chaos and hurt, so it\u2019s complicated.\u201d<\/p>\n

Royal historian Marlene Koenig also said: \u201cIf there is a meeting, it will be private and more likely to be on the king\u2019s terms rather than Harry\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n

The visit was also his first since he lost a legal appeal for government-funded security in May. After his legal loss, the Duke of Sussex sat down for what proved to be a dramatic interview with the BBC.<\/p>\n
